Andrew Franks is an independent documentary and commercial filmmaker. He has edited and directed/co-directed three feature documentaries, as well as a number of short films, national television spots, and branded campaigns. His character-driven, independent short documentary “Cab Elvis” (2016) played at numerous film festivals and can still be viewed on The Atlantic’s YouTube channel as “The Best Cab Ride of Your Life”. He edited the feature documentary “Return to Mount Kennedy” (2018) that was scored by Eddie Vedder and premiered at Mountainfilm. Andrew co-directed and edited the feature concert film “ODESZA: The Last Goodbye Cinematic Experience” (2023), which screened in more than 700 theaters worldwide and was #7 in the US box office the day it premiered. His latest independent feature documentary “RADIOHEART: The Drive & Times of DJ Kevin Cole” (2026), which he co-directed and edited, sold out all of its screenings at MSPIFF and SIFF, and had the highest ticket sales of any film at SIFF this year.
